It was an honor to support Dr. Imambay Kamara and her Disability Charity Work at the Disabled International Foundation UK/SL Dinner Gala, celebrating their 23 years of impactful work.

The event showcased DIF UK/SL’s unwavering commitment to government initiatives in Education, Healthcare, and Food Security, aligning with the vision of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio for the nation.

It is truly a blessing to receive prayers and blessings from our Man of God, Evangelist Winston Crispin Webber. We are grateful for his support and the continuous outpouring of God’s blessings upon us. May God continue to bless and guide him in his ministry, as he selflessly spreads the message of faith and love.

London, 04/11/23 – The Sierra Leone High Commission has demonstrated its strong support for the Disabled International Foundation (DIF UK/SL) during the organization’s 23rd Anniversary Celebration & Fundraising Gala/Dinner held at Surrey Docks Fitness and Watersports Centre in Southeast London.

Disabled International Foundation UK Sierra-Leone former Ambassador Miss Universal and Empire Star 2023 Rosemary Lloyd and her supporting dad Mr John Lloyd, and also to our Red-carpet host Celebrity Presenter Deborah Jay Kelly.

The event was enriched by a contemplative-captivating performance from Aremuorin, who delighted the audience with his soulful renditions of classic soul, jazz, and African Acapella folk melodies. His talent and artistry added a touch of elegance and cultural richness to the evening, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to witness his remarkable performance.

The event attracted sponsorships from the community including the Sieria Leone High Comission. Dr. Imambay Kamara, Director of DIF UK/SL, shared a personal and heartfelt motivation for her charitable work. Growing up with a disabled mother, she intimately understood the daily struggles faced by individuals with disabilities.

This personal experience fueled her dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. She described her late mother as “an extremely dedicated and kind-hearted woman” whose legacy continues to inspire Dr. Kamara’s passion for positive impact.

He highlighted the symbolic impact of the schools, not only in providing education but also as representations of “opportunity and progress” in the face of everyday challenges, exacerbated by a global cost of living crisis.

Mr. Yankuba stated that the DIF UK/SL Charity organization “exemplifies the goodness that arises when individuals unite to champion the causes of the most disadvantaged”.
