When God Hides You Before the Event

Feeling unseen? Your hidden season may be God’s preparation for a public assignment. Before promotion comes process. Before the event comes the hiding place where character, faith, and purpose are strengthened.

God Is Hiding You Before the Event

Not every closed door is a denial.

Sometimes God hides you because He is preparing you for an assignment that requires more than talent—it requires maturity.

Many people become discouraged when opportunities seem delayed, invitations stop coming, or recognition disappears. Yet throughout Scripture, God often worked in hidden places before revealing His purpose.

  • David was tending sheep before becoming king.
  • Joseph spent years in prison before entering the palace.
  • Jesus lived quietly for many years before beginning His public ministry.

The hidden season is not wasted. It is where God develops faith, humility, wisdom, and dependence on Him rather than on applause.

If God has hidden you, don’t fight the process. Trust it.

“But when the set time had fully come, God…” — Galatians 4:4

Prayer

Father, help me embrace every hidden season. Teach me to trust Your timing even when I cannot see what You are doing. Prepare my heart for the assignment You have planned, and let me be faithful while no one is watching. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
