Deuteronomy 22 :20 -21

20 If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found,

21 She shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you.

Honestly, there is a grave danger in reading bible scriptures literally and saying the bible says.
Cuz if that’s the case – I could give you hosts of bible scriptures that don’t make sense or would be criminal in 2017.

Some of these scriptures are metaphors and layered with wisdom to grasp. Without – you would struggle.

In fact, many religious folks are ignorant when it comes down to it – religiously. They quote and un quote what works…
