A song about hope, presence and giving something back.

If You Need Me was written during the COVID-19 period and recorded at St Mungo’s Studio during lockdown. This was part of Aremuorin’s active involvement with the organisation: during that time, Aremuorin was also writing for and contributing to the magazine. These are important parts of the song’s history and its personal connection to St Mungo’s.

The record grew out of lived experience and a genuine appreciation of the value of support services. Through music and writing, Aremuorin has sought to raise awareness, share what support can make possible, and encourage others who may not know that help is available.

As part of MercyfulGrace™ — If You Need Me and the wider Music for Social Impact work, this project uses music to encourage awareness, compassion and practical support for people and communities. The song has a personal connection to St Mungo’s and its work supporting people experiencing homelessness.
