Never Around began as something intimate: a reflection on absence, love, memory and the quiet spaces people leave behind. Over time, the song kept evolving.
Never Around (The Remixes) opens that story up again as a separate 12-track album: more movement, more atmosphere and a wider sonic frame.
A song that kept evolving
Evolution is one of the quiet measures of artistry. A song can stay true to its emotional centre while changing shape around it.
With each reinterpretation of Never Around, the music has moved beyond its original form. What began as an introspective piano-led reflection has expanded into a more cinematic, rhythmic and immersive experience.
The 12-track album keeps the emotional DNA of the original, but lets the production breathe differently across orchestra, ambient, trip-hop, jazz-house, nu-jazz, gospel, Latin jazz, Afro jazz, soul and South Asian interpretations.
The story isn’t over. It is evolving.

A separate 5-track charity edition
The fuller remix album is not the only version of the project. A distinct Extraordinary Achievers Charity Edition was released as a 5-track EP, bringing selected versions of Never Around together with a purpose-led story of resilience, leadership and positive community impact.
For me, that distinction matters. The 12-track remix album stands as the fuller musical statement; the charity EP is a focused companion release with its own purpose and destination.
