So thrilled for my friend Brooklyn Mack for this noble recognition. He is so humble. He did not even post this news on his profile. I saw his mum do it for him. She wrote:
The State of SC (House and Senate) and City of Columbia adopted a joint Legislative Proclamation enacting 15 March 2016 as Brooklyn Mack Day. Brooklyn was given the Key to the City of Columbia by Mayor Steve Benjamin. Congrats Brooklyn, I am so very proud!

This is positive in spite of all the negative racial headlines in America that blacks are still achieving excellence, with evidence of great rewards at the fruitful end for coloured people everywhere; if you believe enough, put in the passion and hard-work. Follow Your Dreams !!!
Not all coloured people are thugs and drug pushers just as much as other races are not. We just want to be appreciated for what we bring to the table. We have done for generations with little or no notoriety for all the wrong reasons. This is what we want. Praises, when and where it’s due.
