Black Coping Mechanisms

My thoughts are love just like today, tomorrow and yesterday ..’

– Aremuorin

United we are the strongest. And they know it. That’s why they want us divided and conquered. But they will fail IJN because love always wins.

For years. I was going mad. Thinking I’m the only one experiencing white supremacy. Dear God. Such evilness. Thats when love defies every thing hate threw at you.

God is my core. Love is my storage. The fervent rescue. Ever true. Love eternal. God is Love darling. And he is everywhere.

Black people have developed a Herculean tolerance for pain and suffering.

We have an internal alarm system that heightens our sensitivity to racism and discrimination, and an internal survival mechanism that fosters our ability to withstand the most difficult circumstances and navigate the most traumatic experiences.

Blackness, I tell you, is a very special calling, a rite of passage, a powerful anointing not wasted on the faint of heart.

– Mary Ann Canty Merrill

Could not word it better ..’
The fact you have to compromise your dignity, integrity, your truth, your love, your passion, your life, your faith, your sexuality, your children, friends and your family, to be emancipated into a culture that some what belittles you as a lesser and inferior race by a subset of the wider white race, is preposterous.
Talk about pain and herculean coping mechanisms all over again. Well sighted and co-signed.

I won’t let them poison my love. Oh hell no! I #shine like a brand new #day. God first. Amen.
