Previously, Youtube removed controversial videos highlighting probable links to cancer and gave my channel a strike. Really? Am not hindered luckily as there are alternatives. Let’s ask Loreal why it’s all over Youtube and on other News channels you knew since 2015, that:

Hair products like straighteners contain a number of products including phthalates and parabens — which may release formaldehyde when heated.

It is well-known that exposure to this chemical can raise a person’s risk of developing cancer. The plaintiffs allege – Loreal knew these products contained toxic chemicals and where not alerted of the risks.

I am concerned, because I use some of their hair products too. Infact, have done for years. I am concerned for my health and my friends who use their products too.

Now we know womb cancer is rare, with about three in 100 women diagnosed with the disease every year estimates suggest.

My aunty has a hair salon for over 30 years, and I am pretty sure some folks there are very concerned. We have been down this road before with Johnsons and talcum powder causing ovarian cancer. Fact.

The alleged victims are saying – Loreal could have told them the risks so they could make an informed decision. One of my beloved beautiful identical twin aunties died prematurely of cervical cancer this year making this a real trigger point for me. It’s difficult not to feel some way about this developing story.

Plaintiff Jennifer Mitchell says she was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2018, having used L’Oreal’s products since about 2000, when she was 10.

“I was 28 years old and I was seeking fertility counsel in order to become a mother… I go in for my first appointment and as most consultations, they do what they call is a vaginal ultrasound… It was recommended that I have a full and total hysterectomy and in September 2018, that’s when I had a full and total hysterectomy. And at that time, at the age of 28, my dreams of becoming a mother were gone.”
