Before the Rain

A reissued and expanded chapter in the story of the original Never Around EP.

The original Never Around release was a multi-track EP, with “Never Around” serving as both the title track and the EP title. After that edition was withdrawn following concerns around distribution, accounting and print-on-demand fulfilment, the project was rebuilt and reissued as Before the Rain.

The reissue preserved the core material from the earlier EP while adding new material, including Ghetto Dreams and a jazz version of Follow Your Dreams.

The title track Never Around has also received award recognition in Los Angeles, giving the project a history that reaches beyond any one edition.

There are a limited number of Soul albums out there that are extremely creative and highly intelligent with miles of depth and thought-provoking lyrics and mood-inducing music.
